Snow Joe cordless snow blowers use the 24V IONMAX battery system, but not every 24V battery is compatible with every snow blower.
Compatibility depends on the exact snow blower model, battery size, and the number of batteries required by the unit.
Do not assume that every 24V IONMAX battery fits every cordless snow blower. Battery compatibility varies by snow blower model.

Do the Batteries Need to Match?
For cordless snow blowers that use multiple batteries, use batteries with the same voltage and the same capacity.
Do not combine different Ah capacities in the same multi-battery snow blower.
Does a Higher Ah Battery Change Runtime?
Battery capacity is measured in amp-hours (Ah).
A different battery capacity may affect runtime, but the battery must still be compatible with the exact snow blower model. A higher Ah rating does not automatically mean that the battery is compatible with every Snow Joe cordless snow blower.
Check Your Exact Snow Blower
