Why Are Four Batteries Required?
Both snow blowers generate a maximum system voltage of 96V using four 24V lithium-ion batteries. A single battery does not provide sufficient power to operate the snow blower.
24V-X4-SB21: The operator's manual identifies the battery as the 24VBAT-XR12 and lists the snow blower as a 96V Max system powered by four 24V batteries.
24V-X4-SB24: The operator's manual also identifies the 24VBAT-XR12 and specifies four 24V batteries for the 96V Max system.
Do All Four Batteries Need to Match?
Yes. Use four batteries with the same voltage and the same capacity.
The operator's manuals warn that using batteries with different capacities can damage the batteries.
