If your Sun Joe 24V-CTC-LTE Cordless Weed Sweeper has a charged battery but will not start, first confirm that the battery is fully seated and that you are using the correct starting sequence.
What Should I Check?

Confirm the Battery Is Charged
Press the charge-level button on the battery and confirm that the battery indicates a sufficient charge.
A fully charged battery shows all three battery indicator lights.

Reinstall the Battery
Slide the battery pack into the battery compartment on the handle of the weed sweeper.
Continue sliding it in until the battery clicks into place.

Use the Correct Starting Sequence
Push the safety lock forward with your thumb, then squeeze the trigger.
Once the weed sweeper is running, release the safety lock.
The safety lock is part of the normal starting procedure. Squeezing the trigger without first pushing the safety lock forward will not follow the start sequence shown in the operator's manual.
Battery Information
The 24V-CTC-LTE is powered by a 24V IONMAX lithium-ion battery. The official product page lists the kit with a 2.0 Ah battery + charger.
The manual states that the supplied 2.0 Ah battery takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to charge.
When all three battery LEDs are illuminated, charging is complete.
Still Won’t Start?
If the battery is charged, clicks securely into the battery compartment, and the correct safety-lock + trigger sequence does not start the weed sweeper, do not disassemble the tool or attempt an internal repair.
The operator's manual states that only the repair and maintenance work described in the manual should be performed by the user. Other repair work should be performed by a qualified technician.
