The Sun Joe 24V-SB10 Cordless SharperBlade Trimmer + Edger uses a 10-inch patented SharperBlade cutting system.
The trimmer is designed for trimming grass and weeds and can also convert from a trimmer to an edger using its 180° rotating Twist-N-Groom head.
The current 24V-SB10 kit also includes additional grass blades. Always use a replacement blade approved for the exact trimmer model.
What Is the Difference Between a GT10 Blade and SharperBlade?

Which Replacement Blade Does the 24V-SB10 Use?
The 24V-SB10 operator's manual specifies the following approved replacement blade options:
- SB10-BLD-3PK — SharperBlade mini trimmer + edger replacement blade.
- SB10-GBLD-20PK — Grass Blade replacement.
Use only the replacement blades specified for the 24V-SB10.
The operator's manual warns against using other products or materials such as steel blades, wire, string, or rope. Incorrect cutting materials can affect cutting-head operation and may create a risk of injury.
Does One SharperBlade Fit Every Trimmer or Edger?
No. SharperBlade products and replacement blades must be matched to the equipment they are designed for.
For the 24V-SB10 cordless trimmer + edger, use only the model-specific replacement blades listed in its operator's manual.
Do not use the walk-behind edger sizing procedure to choose or modify a replacement blade for the 24V-SB10 cordless trimmer.
The 24V-SB10 has its own approved replacement blade models: SB10-BLD-3PK and SB10-GBLD-20PK.
What About SharperBlade for Walk-Behind Edgers?
Separate SharperBlade guidance exists for walk-behind edger equipment. That guidance describes two common edger blade sizes:
- Gas equipment: 9-1/2-inch blade.
- Electric equipment: 7-1/2-inch blade.
The walk-behind edger SharperBlade described in that guidance is constructed to fit gas-powered edger equipment without modification.
For compatible electric walk-behind edgers, the original guidance instructs the user to compare the existing steel blade length from the center hole to the blade tip, mark that length on the applicable SharperBlade, trim it to that measurement with garden shears, select the appropriate centering washer, and reinstall it using the edger's existing bolt and washer.
This procedure is for the walk-behind edger SharperBlade described in that support guidance. It is not the replacement procedure for the 24V-SB10 cordless trimmer + edger.
Safety When Using SharperBlade
- Remove stones, small sticks, and other objects from the cutting area before trimming.
- Wear eye protection while operating the trimmer.
- Keep the trimmer below waist level while operating it.
- Be aware that the SharperBlade continues rotating briefly after the trimmer is switched off.
- Allow the blade to come to a complete stop before restarting the trimmer or making an adjustment.
- Switch the trimmer off and remove the battery before changing or adjusting the blade.
