Follow these steps to assemble your Sun Joe SPX2599-MAX Electric Pressure Washer before connecting it to power.

Before You Begin
Safety first: Do not connect the pressure washer to the power supply until assembly is complete. Connecting the unit before assembly is finished could result in accidental starting and possible serious personal injury.
Tool needed: Phillips-head screwdriver.
How to Assemble the SPX2599-MAX

Install the Top Handle
Slide the top handle into position on top of the pressure washer.
Secure the handle using three of the supplied screws.

Install the High-Pressure Hose Holder
Position the high-pressure hose holder on the unit.
Secure it using the four remaining supplied screws.

Install the Cord Holder
Slide the cord holder into its mounting position on the pressure washer.

Install the Trigger Gun Holder
Slide the trigger gun holder into position on the unit.

Install the Spray Wand Protector
Slide the spray wand protector into its mounting position near the base of the pressure washer.

Connect the Spray Wand to the Trigger Gun
Press the wings of the spray wand into the slot on the trigger gun.
Twist the spray wand counterclockwise until the two parts are completely locked together.

Connect the High-Pressure Hose to the Trigger Gun
Connect one end of the high-pressure hose to the trigger gun.
Twist the connection until it is secure.

Connect the High-Pressure Hose to the Washer
Connect the other end of the high-pressure hose to the water outlet on the pressure washer.
Tighten the connection securely.

Connect the Garden Hose Adapter + Garden Hose
Connect the supplied garden hose adapter (female coupler) to the water inlet on the pressure washer.
Then thread the male end of your garden hose into the adapter.
The garden hose must be reinforced and have an internal diameter of at least 1/2 inch (13 mm).

Connect the Garden Hose to the Water Supply
Attach the other end of the garden hose to the water supply.
High-pressure hose safety: Keep the hose away from sharp objects. Inspect the hose regularly and replace it if damaged. Do not attempt to repair a damaged high-pressure hose.
Before Using the Pressure Washer
Use only clean water. The intake water temperature must not exceed 104°F (40°C), and the water-supply pressure must not exceed 0.7 MPa.
Make sure the pressure washer has a proper and stable water supply before starting it. Do not allow the pressure washer to operate dry.
Water connection: The manual states that the machine is not suitable for direct connection to a potable water main. If it is connected to a potable water system, the system must be protected against backflow.
Final Assembly Check
Before connecting the unit to power, confirm that the top handle, high-pressure hose holder, cord holder, trigger gun holder, and spray wand protector are securely installed.
Also confirm that the spray wand is locked into the trigger gun and that both ends of the high-pressure hose are securely connected.
