The burst rating refers to the maximum pressure, measured in pounds per square inch (PSI), required to cause a hose to rupture. Typically, a standard 5/8” diameter garden hose bursts at approximately 200 PSI. However, the AquaJoe® hose is specifically burst-rated to endure 600 PSI, making it nearly three times more resilient than regular hoses.
