Assembling your Snow Joe SJEG24 2-in-1 24-inch poly blade snow pusher + ice chopper is simple! Follow the quick guide below to attach the ice chopper to the snow pusher, then watch the assembly and use video for a walkthrough.

Before You Begin
Identify the snow shovel/pusher, ice chopper, and the connection points shown in your SJEG24 Quick Guide:
- A: Metal clip on the ice chopper
- B: Plastic bracket on the snow pusher
- C: Plastic side groove
- D: Tab at the front center of the snow pusher
- E: Ice chopper
Tip: Work on a stable surface and keep fingers clear of the attachment points when fitting the ice chopper into place.
Assemble Your Snow Pusher + Ice Chopper

Locate the Front-Center Tab
Find the tab (D) at the front center of the snow shovel/pusher.

Pull the Tab
Pull the front-center tab (D) to allow the ice chopper to be fitted into the shovel's back groove.

Align the Ice Chopper
Line up the metal clip (A) on the ice chopper with the plastic bracket (B) and plastic side groove (C) on the snow shovel/pusher.

Slide the Ice Chopper Into Place
Push the ice chopper (E) into the back groove of the snow shovel/pusher while keeping the clip, bracket, and side groove aligned.
How to Use the Ice Chopper
To access the ice chopper, pull the tab (D) at the front center of the shovel and lift up the ice chopper (E), as directed in the quick guide.
Final Assembly Check
Check that the ice chopper is seated in the back groove and that its metal clip is aligned with the plastic bracket and side groove. If the components do not fit together, recheck the alignment instead of forcing them.
