How do I assemble my RJ204M?

Follow these steps to assemble the RJ204M 21-Foot Twist-N-Lock Telescoping Snow Shovel Roof Rake and adjust the handle for use.

Before You Begin

Place all parts on a clean, flat surface and confirm that the required hardware and tools are included before starting assembly.

Assemble the roof rake before use and make sure all screws, braces, knobs, and locking hardware are securely fastened. Use the roof rake while standing on solid ground.

Step-by-Step Assembly

Step 1

Remove the Shipping Cap

Remove the shipping cap from the top of the pole. Keep the cap for product storage.

Step 2

Expose the Handle Holes

Unscrew the handle knob and extend the pole until the small holes near the end of the handle are visible.

Step 3

Insert the Handle

Press the small buttons at the end of the handle and insert the handle into the roof rake head. Make sure the buttons align and lock into place.

Step 4

Attach the Metal Braces to the Head

Position the two metal braces against the roof rake head. Using the hex key wrench, secure the braces with the two short hex screws #4 — M5 × 10 mm.

Step 5

Attach the Braces to the Pole

Align the metal braces with the hole in the pole. Thread the long hex screw #7 — M5 × 30 mm through both braces and the pole. Secure it with the locking nut using the open-end wrench.

Step 6

Adjust the Telescoping Pole

Rotate the handle knob clockwise to loosen it. Extend the pole to the desired length, then rotate the knob counterclockwise to secure it.

Final Assembly Check

The handle buttons are fully engaged in the roof rake head.
