To ensure long and reliable service, carry out the following maintenance regularly. Servicing and cleaning work on the machine and the removal of the guards may only be carried out after the motor has been switched off and the plug disconnected from the power supply.

• Tighten all nuts, bolts, and screws.
• Allow the product to cool completely before storing.
• Inspect the machine, thatch collection bag, covers, and guards for signs of wear and damage. Repair or replace as needed.
• Clean the machine with a brush or cloth. Do not use solvents or water.
• Consider storing the machine in a temperature-controlled environment to prevent damage from extreme temperatures.
• If the cutting device is worn or blunt, replace it immediately.
• If the machine starts to vibrate excessively, the cutting device may be unbalanced or damaged.
• Do not clean the machine while it is running.

Additional tips:

• Lubricate all moving parts regularly.
• Sharpen the cutting device before each use.
• Use the correct fuel and oil for your machine.
