💦 Standard Aqua Joe Sprinkler Maintenance Guide

Regular maintenance of your Aqua Joe sprinkler helps ensure long-term performance, efficiency, and reliability. Here's how to keep your sprinkler in great shape:

1. Drain After Every Use

• Always remove excess water from the sprinkler before storing.

• This prevents internal rust, mold buildup, or freeze damage in cold weather.

2. Roll Up and Store the Hose Properly

• If your sprinkler is attached to a hose, disconnect and roll up the hose neatly after use.

• Avoid leaving hoses and sprinklers exposed to direct sunlight or laying on the lawn for extended periods.

3. Clean the Water Inlet Filter

• Check the inlet filter for dirt, sand, or debris that could reduce water flow.

• Rinse the filter under clean running water as needed to ensure proper operation.

4. Clear the Spray Nozzles

• Over time, spray nozzles may become clogged with dirt or minerals.

• Use a small cleaning tool (like a pin or needle) to gently remove any blockages.

• Run clean water through the sprinkler to flush out any remaining debris.

5. Inspect Moving Parts

• Ensure that adjustable parts (like spray range controls, rotation dials, or height-adjusting features) move smoothly.

• Avoid forcing any parts—if resistance is felt, check for obstructions or buildup.

6. Store in a Dry Location

• After use, store the sprinkler indoors or in a shed to protect it from weather damage.

• Keeping it dry prevents rust, corrosion, and UV damage.

7. Winterize Before Cold Weather

• Before freezing temperatures arrive, make sure the sprinkler is fully drained and stored indoors.

• Freezing water inside the unit can cause cracks or internal damage.
