Can I use hot water with this pressure washer?

No. Only use cold or lukewarm water (104°F max). Hot water can damage the internal pump.

Can I use household cleaners in the foam cannon?

No. Use only pressure-washer-safe detergents such as Sun Joe® House + Deck Wash or Auto Wash. Avoid bleach, solvents, acids, or ammonia.

Does it need to be grounded?

No. It features double insulation and a built-in GFCI plug for added safety.

Can I use an extension cord?

It is not recommended. If necessary, use only outdoor-rated cords with matching electrical ratings, and keep connections dry and off the ground.

What kind of hose does it require?

A standard reinforced garden hose (minimum ½ inch diameter) connects via the included adapter.

Troubleshooting Guide
