Pressure Washer Foam Cannon Compatibility Guide

Foam cannons are a must-have accessory for achieving a thick, clinging layer of foam when cleaning your car, patio, siding, or outdoor equipment. To ensure proper operation, it’s important to use the right foam cannon model with the correct Sun Joe SPX pressure washer series.

This guide covers the compatibility and installation steps for foam cannon models SPX-FC26, SPX-FC34, SPX-FC34-MAX, SPX-FC34-PRO.
 

Foam Cannon Models SPX-FC26 and SPX-FC34
   

 

These models are compatible with multiple Sun Joe SPX pressure washer series. Follow the appropriate instructions based on your unit:

For Use With SPX200/1000 Series:

1. Disconnect your spray wand assembly, leaving only the middle wand attached to the trigger gun.

2. Align the two tabs on the foam cannon with the middle wand.

3. Insert the tip of the locking collar on the foam cannon into the middle wand and twist counter-clockwise to lock into place.

4. Adjust the foam cannon as needed, then tighten with the locking collar to secure.

For Use With SPX2000, SPX2500, SPX2600, SPX4003, SPX4003-ULT:

1. Detach the spray wand from your trigger gun.

2. Align the foam cannon’s two tabs with the trigger gun.

3. Insert the locking collar into the trigger gun and twist counter-clockwise to lock.

4. Make any necessary adjustments, then secure with the locking collar.

For Use With Most SPX2000 Series + SPX4003-ELT, SPX7001E:


 

1. Remove the spray wand from the trigger gun if not already done.

2. Align the foam cannon’s two tabs with the trigger gun.

3. Insert the locking collar into the trigger gun and twist counter-clockwise to lock.

4. Adjust as needed, then secure with the locking collar.

For most SPX3000 and SPX4000 Series, a transfer adapter (model SPX-TFA) is required to connect the foam cannon to the trigger gun:

If your pressure washer features a quick-connect fitting at the end of the spray wand, these foam cannon models offer the easiest installation.

1. Align the foam cannon with the Quick-Connect collar on your lance/spray wand.

2. Push firmly until you hear a click, indicating the cannon is securely attached.
