Pressure Washer Has No Power
Safety first: Turn the pressure washer off and unplug it before attaching, removing, or inspecting accessories. Never point the spray gun at yourself, another person, pets, or electrical equipment.
- Unplug the pressure washer Make sure the unit is disconnected from the electrical outlet.
- Connect the water supply Attach the garden hose to the water inlet, then turn on the water.

Remove the spray nozzle With the machine off, pull back the quick-connect collar and remove the nozzle.

Purge trapped air Hold the spray-gun trigger for 30 seconds to allow water to flow and release trapped air.

Reset the plug Press the reset button on the plug and check whether its indicator light turns red or green.

Reattach a high-pressure nozzle and turn on the unit Install any compatible spray nozzle except the black detergent nozzle, then connect the power and turn on the pressure washer.
- Pull and hold the trigger Pressure washers equipped with a Total Stop System activate the motor when water begins flowing through the spray gun. Pull the trigger to test the unit.
Dispensing Detergent
Use the instructions that match the detergent accessory supplied with your model.
Black Detergent Nozzle
- Install the black nozzle.
- Dilute the detergent 10:1.
- Check all detergent connections.
- Remove any visible debris.
Adjustable Nozzle
- Set the nozzle to a low-pressure fan spray.
- Dilute the detergent 10:1.
- Pull the trigger so the detergent can mix with the water flow.

Foam Cannon
- Press the foam-cannon wings into the trigger gun.
- Pull the trigger so the detergent can mix with the water flow.
- Turn the cap to adjust the foam spray from 0° to 45°.
Troubleshooting Leaks

Attaching or Detaching the Spray Wand
- Press the spray wand and trigger gun together.
- Twist the wand clockwise to attach it.
- Twist the wand counterclockwise to detach it.

Removing a Quick-Connect Nozzle
- Turn the wand sideways so you can clearly see and hold the brass collar.
- Pull the collar down with your thumb and finger.
- Remove the released nozzle from the quick-connect fitting.

Do not force a stuck nozzle. If it cannot be removed by hand, stop and contact Shop Joe Customer Support to avoid damaging the collar or wand.
