Uncoil the hose fully
Before first use, fully uncoil and stretch the hose on a flat surface. This removes any storage kinks and allows the hose to "relax" into its natural shape.

Connect the female end to your spigot
Thread the metal female fitting (with rubber washer inside) clockwise onto your outdoor spigot or tap. Hand-tighten firmly — do not use pliers, which can damage the fitting.

Attach your nozzle or accessory
Connect your preferred nozzle, sprinkler, or spray gun to the male fitting at the other end. Thread clockwise until snug.

Turn on the water slowly
Open the spigot gradually to allow water to fill the hose. Check both connections for any leaks and tighten if needed.

Run water at full pressure for a few seconds. If any leaks appear at the fittings, turn off the water, ensure the rubber washer is seated correctly, and re-thread.
Never exceed the rated burst pressure of 600 PSI. For residential use, standard water supply pressure (40–80 PSI) is well within the safe operating range. If your water pressure is unusually high, install a pressure regulator.

- Keep the hose as straight as possible when in use to maintain maximum water flow
- Drag and maneuver the hose by the body — avoid pulling by the fittings
- When working around corners, guide the hose gently — it is kink-resistant, not kink-proof under extreme bending
- Move the hose away from sharp edges, tools, and rough concrete that could abrade the outer jacket over time

The FiberJacket® exterior dries quickly on its own — no need to wipe down before storing. This is one of the key advantages over rubber hoses that remain wet and heavy.

- Store in a cool, shaded location — prolonged direct UV exposure can degrade any polymer material over time
- Coil loosely on a hose reel, hook, or flat surface — avoid tight coiling or folding
- Always drain the hose before storing to prevent mildew and freeze damage
