🪵 LJ10M Manual Hydraulic Log Splitter
Use these steps for the LJ10M manual hydraulic log splitter.
- Turn the hand wheel clockwise until it is snug.
- Remove any foreign objects from below the ram.
- Remove the oil plug and make sure the oil level is full with hydraulic oil.
- Turn the hand wheel counterclockwise to release air and retract the piston rod.
- Check the oil level again and add more hydraulic oil as needed.
- Add WD-40 or a similar lubricant to the springs.
- Attempt to split a log.
⚡ LJ602E Electric Hydraulic Log Splitter
Use these steps for the LJ602E electric hydraulic log splitter.
- Loosen the bleed screw 3 to 4 turns to allow air to go in and out of the oil tank.
- Check that the log is fixed stably before attempting to split it.
- Check the oil level. The hydraulic oil needs to be replaced every 150 hours of use.
- Clean the oil drain bolt and make sure it is tightened to help avoid leakage.
- Load the log lengthwise into the unit between the wedge and the log pusher.
- Plug the unit into the correct cord.
- Use two-hand operation: with the left hand, push the hydraulic lever; with the right hand, push the ON/OFF switch at the same time.
- Operate the electric splitter for 5 minutes, then switch it off and allow it to cool for 10 minutes before restarting.
🔋 24V-X2-LS6T Battery-Powered Hydraulic Log Splitter
Use these steps only for the 24V-X2-LS6T cordless battery-powered hydraulic log splitter.
- Loosen the bleed screw 3 to 4 turns to allow air to go in and out of the oil tank.
- Slide both batteries into the battery compartment.
- Load a single log lengthwise onto the log rail.
- Begin splitting using two-hand operation: the right hand presses the power button while the left hand pulls the control lever at the same time.
🛢️ Hydraulic Oil and Bleed Screw Checks
- The log splitter still will not split after following the correct model section.
- The ram, wedge, log pusher, control lever, hand wheel, or power switch appears damaged.
- Hydraulic oil is leaking after the oil drain bolt has been checked and tightened.
