If the unit is a blower/vacuum, open the inlet cover and close it again with firm pressure. Check that nothing is blocking the vents.Turn the unit ON and test operation. If applicable, confirm the tube, bag, or vacuum attachment is correctly installed before testing again. Important Remove the 24V battery or batteries before checking the vents, inlet cover, tube, bag, or vacuum attachment area. Do not continue using the unit if the battery compartment, switch, inlet cover, tube, or vent area appears damaged.🔋 20V Compact Leaf BlowerUse this section only for 20V compact cordless leaf blowers. This product type uses a 20V max lithium-ion battery and may include multiple speed levels.Unit Will Not StartMake sure the 20V battery is inserted into the battery compartment until it clicks and locks into position.Check the battery charge indicator. If only 1 level monitoring LED is lit, stop and recharge the battery. If the battery is discharged, remove the battery and fully recharge it. Charging may take approximately 4–5 hours. Reinsert the battery and press the ON/OFF start button.If the unit still will not start, test with a known working compatible 20V battery if available.Important Do not continue testing with a damaged or modified battery. Use only the compatible 20V battery pack and charger for this equipment.Unit Shuts Off During UseCheck the 20V battery charge level. If the battery is low, remove and recharge the battery.If the unit may have overloaded or overheated, turn it OFF.Wait 10–15 minutes before restarting.After waiting, reinsert the battery and restart the blower.Avoid continuous high-speed use when not needed to help prolong motor life.Weak AirflowCheck the 20V battery charge level. Low battery power can reduce airflow.Recharge the battery if the charge indicator shows low or decreasing charge.Turn the blower OFF and remove the battery.Check the air inlet and vents for leaves, dust, or debris.Clear debris from the air inlet and vents. Keep the air vents clean and unclogged at all times.Confirm the blower tube is attached securely.Restart the blower and use the speed level button to increase airflow as needed, if the blower has adjustable speed. Speed Tip Start the blower at the lowest speed setting when possible. Increase the speed one level at a time as needed. Avoid continuous high-speed use when lower speed can complete the task.Excessive Vibration or NoiseTurn the blower OFF immediately.Remove the battery from the blower.Wait for the fan or impeller to stop completely.Check that the blower tube is attached firmly and has not loosened.Reattach the tube firmly if it is loose.Inspect the blower for visible loose, worn, or damaged parts.If vibration or noise continues, stop using the unit and contact customer support.Important Do not touch the fan while it is still moving. Always remove the battery before checking the tube, inlet, fan, or vent area.Battery Will Not ChargeRemove the 20V battery from the blower by pressing the push lock button.Plug the charger adapter into an appropriate AC power outlet. Connect the charger plug into the charge socket of the battery.Allow the battery to charge. Charging may take approximately 4–5 hours, depending on the battery and charger. If the battery is too hot or too cold, allow it to reach room temperature before charging.If the battery still will not charge, check the outlet or replace the charger if needed.Important When disconnecting the charger, unplug the charger from the outlet first, then disconnect the charger from the battery. Never allow the battery pack to become fully discharged.Tube Assembly or Operation CheckMake sure the battery is removed before attaching or checking the blower tube.Align the notches on the blower body with the notches on the blower tube. Slide the blower tube and body together until they click into place. Make sure the blower tube is in place before operating the unit.Hold the blower firmly with your dominant hand and keep the lower tube several inches above the ground while blowing debris. Important To avoid injury, it is not recommended to disassemble the blower tube. Do not operate the blower without the tube installed.
