Remove the left panel to check the belt. If the belt is damaged or broken, it should be replaced. Important Remove the battery before checking the left panel, belt, blade, or underside. Do not place hands near the blade or belt area until the unit is fully powered off and all moving parts have stopped.⚡ Electric Snow ShovelUse these steps if a corded electric Snow Joe® snow shovel does not start or the auger is not spinning.Make sure the correct outdoor extension cord is being used. Refer to page 2 or page 3 of the manual for extension cord information. Confirm the extension cord is securely connected to the snow shovel and power source. Push and hold the safety lock button with your thumb.While holding the safety lock button, squeeze the trigger. If the auger is not spinning, turn the unit OFF and unplug it from the power source.Remove the left panel to check the belt. If the belt is damaged or broken, it should be replaced. Important Do not use a damaged, frayed, worn, or incorrect extension cord. Unplug the unit before checking the left panel, belt, auger, or underside.🔧 Blade / Auger Not Spinning: Belt CheckUse this section if the snow shovel powers on but the blade or auger does not spin.Turn the snow shovel OFF.Disconnect power. Remove the battery for cordless models, or unplug the electric model from the power source.Wait for the blade or auger to stop completely.Remove the left panel to check the belt.Check whether the belt has slipped, is damaged, or is broken.If the belt is damaged or broken, replace the belt before using the snow shovel again.Important Do not operate the snow shovel if the belt appears damaged or broken. Keep hands away from the blade, auger, and belt area until power is disconnected and all moving parts have stopped.🧩 Pole AssemblyUse this section if the customer needs help checking or confirming the pole assembly.Turn the snow shovel OFF and disconnect power.For battery powered models, remove the battery. For electric models, unplug the unit from the power source.Check that the pole sections are aligned correctly. Make sure the pole connection is fully seated and secure.Confirm all knobs, fasteners, or locking points are tightened before operating. Reconnect power only after the pole assembly is secure.
