Directions for Use
Water Balance
- Adjust pool pH to 7.2–7.6 as determined by a test kit.
- If the pool has not been previously stabilized, add conditioner and stabilizer, such as cyanuric acid, according to its product label.

Add the recommended amount
Add 1 tablet per 6,500 gallons of pool water per week or as needed.

Maintain chlorine residual
Maintain a chlorine residual of 1.0–1.5 ppm as determined by a test kit.

Adjust based on conditions
Dosage may vary depending on air temperature, water temperature, bather load, rain, thunderstorms, and pool exposure.

Shock as needed
Shock the pool weekly during hot weather and less frequently during cooler periods according to the instructions provided with the selected product.

Confirm before swimming
Pool water should not be entered until the chlorine residual is below 3.0 ppm.
Application Methods
Floating Chlorinator
Load the floating chlorinator with the prescribed dosage according to the chlorinator instructions. Allow the chlorinator to float freely.
Skimmer Method
Empty the skimmer of all chemicals and debris, then place the prescribed dosage into the skimmer basket.
In-Line Erosion Chlorinator
Load the prescribed dosage into the chlorinator according to the chlorinator manufacturer's instructions.
Additional Label Information
- Each tablet weighs approximately 200 grams, or 7 ounces.
- The tablets are on the acid side and may reduce pool pH and alkalinity.
- Maintain pool pH between 7.2 and 7.6 through periodic additions of sodium carbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate if needed.
