Safety First

🚫 Do not use steel blades, metal line, nylon line, wire, rope, or other substitutes. Use only the original nylon grass blade type designed for this trimmer.
🛡️ The safety guard must be installed before use. It helps protect the operator and bystanders from thrown objects.
⚠️ Keep bystanders, children, and pets at least 50 ft / 15 m away. Stones and debris can be picked up by the blade and thrown during operation.
👓 Wear protective gear. Use safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, snug-fitting clothing, and non-slip footwear.
🌧️ Do not use in rain or wet conditions. Keep the trimmer, battery, and charger dry.
🦶 Keep hands and feet away from the cutting area. The blade continues rotating for a few seconds after the switch is released.

Battery + Charger Guide

🔋 Charge before first use. The included battery is only partially charged and requires about 1 hr 20 min to fully charge before first use.

  1. Remove the battery

    Press the push lock buttons on both sides of the battery and pull the battery pack out of the equipment.

  2. Plug in the charger

    Check that the outlet voltage matches the charger rating, then plug the charger adapter into an appropriate AC outlet.

  3. Connect the charger to the battery

    Insert the charger plug into the battery charge socket. The battery LEDs will twinkle and illuminate one by one while charging.

  4. Unplug when complete

    When all 3 LEDs are illuminated, unplug the charger from the outlet first, then disconnect the charger from the battery.

⚠️ The charger does not automatically turn off. Do not leave the battery connected to the charger for days on end. Unplug when charging is complete.

Assembly

🚫 Do not insert the battery until assembly is complete. This helps prevent accidental starting.

  1. Connect the poles

    Insert the upper pole assembly into the lower pole assembly.

  2. Secure the pole connection

    Screw the pole collar onto the thread to secure the upper and lower poles together.

  3. Install the safety guard

    Fit the safety guard into the groove on the motor housing.

  4. Fasten the safety guard

    Hold the blade hub in place and use the safety guard screw to secure the guard.

Starting + Stopping

⚠️ Clear the work area before trimming. Remove stones, sticks, wire, glass, concrete, metal, wood, and other hidden objects that may be thrown by the blade.

  1. Insert the battery

    Slide the battery into the battery compartment at the back of the machine until it clicks into place.

  2. Start the trimmer

    Press and hold the safety lock button, then squeeze the On/Off switch.

  3. Release the safety lock

    Once the machine runs steadily, release the safety lock button while continuing to hold the On/Off switch.

  4. Stop the trimmer

    Release the On/Off switch. Wait for the blade to come to a complete stop, then remove the battery.

Adjusting the Auxiliary Handle

  1. Turn off and remove the battery

    Wait until the blade has fully stopped before adjusting the handle.

  2. Loosen the handle

    Rotate the auxiliary handle knob counterclockwise.

  3. Adjust position

    Slide the auxiliary handle along the upper pole as needed.

  4. Adjust angle

    Pivot the handle to the preferred angle for comfort and control.

  5. Lock the handle

    Rotate the knob clockwise until the handle is secure.

Trimming Tips

🚫 Keep the trimmer away from your body. Maintain at least 2 ft of clearance between any body part and the bladed trimmer head.
⚠️ Protect the blade and hub. Keep at least 1 ft of clearance between the blade and nearby objects such as sidewalks, fencing, posts, siding, buildings, or other immovable objects.

Inspect the blade

Check the blade before each use and during long use. Replace it if bent, warped, cracked, chipped, or damaged.

Keep the blade below waist level

Maintain a firm grip and keep the blade away from your body while trimming.

Let the blade stop fully

After releasing the switch, keep control of the trimmer until the blade has completely stopped rotating.

Do not touch the moving blade

Never attempt to stop the blade by hand.

Replacing the Trimmer Blade

🚫 Stop the unit and remove the battery before changing the blade. Do not use steel blades, wire, string, rope, or other substitutes.

  1. Remove the battery

    Turn off the unit, wait for the blade to stop, and remove the battery from the compartment.

  2. Remove the worn blade

    Move the worn blade inward until the blade peg is in the larger hole. The blade should detach easily.

  3. Install the new blade

    Fit the blade peg into the larger hole of the new blade.

  4. Lock the blade

    Pull the new blade outward until the peg locks into the smaller hole.

Cleaning + Maintenance

🚫 Always turn off the trimmer and remove the battery before maintenance. Wear protective gloves during cleaning and blade replacement.

Clean after each use

Remove grass and soil from the trimmer and safety guard after each cutting operation.

During operation, keep ventilation vents clean and free from grass.

Use a cloth soaked with hot water and a soft brush to clean the trimmer.

Battery + Charger Off-Season Storage

🔋 Store the battery and charger at room temperature away from moisture. Recharge the battery every 6 months to about 50% capacity, shown as 2 lights on.
⚠️ Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not store the battery or charger where temperatures may exceed 105°F / 40.5°C. Battery packs stored below 32°F / 0°C for more than 60 minutes must be discarded.

🔴 Trimmer Will Not Start

Possible Causes

  • Battery not fully seated
  • Battery charge too low
  • Start sequence not followed
  • Battery protection cutoff activated

Solutions

  • Remove and reinsert the battery until it clicks into place
  • Check battery LEDs and recharge if needed
  • Press and hold the safety lock button, then squeeze the On/Off switch
  • If the unit stopped from overload, allow the battery/tool to cool before retrying
🔋 Battery Runs Down Quickly

Possible Causes

  • Heavy weeds or overgrown grass
  • Battery not fully charged

🔌 Battery Will Not Charge

Possible Causes

  • Charger not plugged into a proper outlet
  • Charger plug not fully connected to the battery charge socket
  • Battery too hot or too cold
  • Battery deeply discharged or damaged

Solutions

  • Confirm the outlet is working
  • Reconnect the charger plug to the battery charge socket
  • Charge only at room temperature
  • If battery shows damage, swelling, hissing, cracking, or abnormal behavior, stop use and route to support
🌿 Blade Does Not Cut Well

Possible Causes

  • Blade is worn
  • Blade is bent, cracked, chipped, or damaged
  • Grass or debris buildup around guard or blade hub

Solutions

  • Replace the worn blade with one of the included replacement blades
  • Do not use damaged blades
  • Remove the battery and clean grass/soil from the trimmer and guard
🛡️ Guard Issue

  • Safety guard not installed correctly
  • Guard was stored resting against a surface
  • Guard damaged during use or storage

  • Confirm the guard is seated in the groove on the motor housing
  • Confirm the safety guard screw is secure

⚠️ Excessive Vibration or Noise
