Assembly
Before assembly: Keep the pressure washer switched off and unplugged while making connections.
- Connect the spray lance. Seat the lance securely in the trigger gun and lock the connection.
- Install a spray tip. Pull back the quick-connect collar, insert the selected 15° or 40° tip, and release the collar until the tip is secured.
- Connect the high-pressure hose. Attach one end to the trigger gun and the other end to the pressure washer outlet, confirming both connections are secure.
- Connect the water supply. Attach the garden hose adapter and connect a clean-water garden hose to the washer inlet and water source.
Getting Started
- Position the washer. Place it upright on a secure, stable surface as close as practical to the water source.
- Turn on the water. Fully open the supply, unlock the trigger, and squeeze it until the water stream is steady and trapped air has cleared.
- Connect electrical power. Confirm the switch is OFF, plug the washer into a suitable outlet, and reset the GFCI if required.
- Start the washer. Keep the trigger pressed while moving the power switch to ON.
- Clean the surface. Keep the spray directed away from people, pets, electrical equipment, and the washer, and test the selected tip on an inconspicuous area first.
- Shut down safely. Switch the washer OFF, unplug it, close the water supply, squeeze the trigger to release pressure, disconnect the hoses, and engage the trigger lock.
Nozzle Selection
- 15° yellow: Produces a concentrated fan for tougher dirt on durable surfaces.
- 40° gray: Produces a wider, gentler fan for more delicate surfaces and rinsing.
Maintenance, Care & Storage
- Switch off, unplug, shut off the water, and release stored pressure before cleaning or maintenance.
- Inspect the power cord, fittings, trigger gun, spray tips, and high-pressure hose regularly. Never use or attempt to mend a damaged high-pressure hose.
- Remove the inlet filter and rinse it with warm water to prevent debris from clogging the pump.
- Remove a blocked spray tip, clean its opening with the supplied needle tool, and rinse it before reinstalling.
- Store the washer and accessories indoors in a dry, covered, frost-free area, and empty water from the pump and hoses before storage.
- For winter or long-term storage, disconnect all water connections, briefly run the washer until remaining pump water exits, and switch it off immediately. Use a non-corrosive, non-toxic pump protector, then flush the washer thoroughly with clean water before reuse.
Freeze warning: Never store or operate the pressure washer below 32°F (0°C). Frozen water can permanently damage the pump.

The pressure washer will not start
Step-by-Step Check
- Check the GFCI light indicator. This confirms whether the pressure washer is receiving power. There should be a red or green light on the GFCI plug.
- If the GFCI light is off: Press the RESET button on the GFCI plug. Make sure the plug is fully seated, then try a known working outlet. There should be a red or green light.
- If using an extension cord: Remove the extension cord and plug the pressure washer directly into a wall outlet.
- Check the nozzle: Remove the nozzle and clean it with the needle clean-out tool. If the nozzle cannot be removed, make sure the nozzle opening is not clogged.
- Run the full restart sequence: Connect the garden hose and turn the water supply fully on. Make sure the trigger safety lock is in its normal operating position. Press and hold the trigger until water flow is steady to purge air and release trapped pressure. Reset the GFCI if needed, turn the machine ON, and try again.
Pressure fluctuates or pulsates
Possible Causes
- Air is trapped in the inlet hose, the water supply is inadequate, a hose is kinked, or the inlet filter or spray tip is blocked.
Solutions
- Hold the trigger until flow becomes steady, fully open the water supply, straighten the hose, and clean the inlet filter and spray tip.
GFCI Tripping on Pressure Washers
GFCI plug functions as the circuit breaker
- Turn the pressure washer off and unplug it.
- Remove any extension cord and disconnect other devices from the outlet.
- Plug the pressure washer directly into a different wall outlet.
- Reset the GFCI plug and test the unit again.

Stiff Quick-Release Nozzle Connector
Possible Causes
- Corrosion, dirt, or debris buildup inside the quick-release connector.

- Soak the quick-disconnect end in warm, soapy water.
- While submerged, move the quick-release collar back and forth repeatedly until it begins to move more smoothly.
- Remove the connector from the water and rinse it by spraying a strong, steady stream of clean water directly into the quick disconnect to flush out any remaining debris.
- Repeat the soaking, movement, and rinsing process as needed until the collar moves freely.
The washer starts, but no water comes out
Possible Causes
- The pump, hose, or accessories are frozen; the water supply is disconnected; or the inlet filter or spray tip is blocked.
Solutions
- Allow frozen parts to thaw, connect and fully open the water supply, and clean the inlet filter and spray tip.
Stop using the washer immediately if the cord, trigger gun, pressure hose, safety devices, or other important parts are damaged, or if leaking or abnormal operation continues.
