This guide covers the Sun Joe® X20-BLOWER-4A, X20-BLOWER-5A, and X20-BLOWER-2AX2 cordless compact multi-purpose blower kits. What is the difference between the three configurations? The blower platform and published airflow performance are the same. The included battery kit changes: the 4A includes one 4.0 Ah battery, the 5A includes one 5.0 Ah battery, and the 2AX2 includes two 2.0 Ah batteries. Does X20-BLOWER-2AX2 use both batteries at the same time? No. The blower has one battery compartment and uses one X20 battery at a time. The second 2.0 Ah battery is included as a spare. How do the six speed levels work? The blower starts at level 1. Each press of the speed-level button advances one level; the next press after level 6 returns to level 1. Pressing and holding the speed-level button provides direct access to level 6. Can I use a 24V IONMAX battery or charger? No. X20-BLOWER models use the 20V ECOSHARP® battery system and their specified compatible charger. They are not compatible with 24V IONMAX batteries or chargers. What does the two-piece blower tube do? The upper tube connects to the blower body, and the lower tube locks onto the upper tube to extend reach and direct airflow closer to the ground. Both connections must be secure before operation. Which replacement battery and charger models are listed? Verified operator-manual listings include: X20-BATT-4A - 4.0 Ah replacement battery for the 4A configuration X20-BATT-2A - 2.0 Ah replacement battery for the 2AX2 configuration GC09-2100750US - compatible charger listed for the X20 Series BLOWER platform For X20-BLOWER-5A, confirm the replacement part number against the model label and current Shop Joe manual before ordering.
