Key Components
Start button - starts and stops the blower while the battery is installed.
Speed-level button - moves through the six airflow settings and provides direct access to maximum speed.
Handle - provides the main grip for controlled handheld operation.
Battery compartment - locks one compatible X20 ECOSHARP® battery into the blower.
Air inlet - draws air into the blower and must remain clear during use.
Blower body - contains the brushed DC motor and airflow system.
Upper blower tube - attaches directly to the blower outlet.
Lower blower tube - connects to the upper tube for extended reach.
Battery indicator button and LEDs - show the battery's remaining charge.

Start Here: Before First Use
Unpacking & Inspection

Check the carton contents
Compare the supplied items with the What's in the Box table for your model.

Inspect for shipping damage
Check the blower body, both tube sections, battery or batteries, charger, and manual before use.

Keep packaging away from children
Plastic bags, foils, and small parts can create a suffocation hazard.
Blower Tube Assembly

Remove the battery
Never assemble or adjust the blower tubes with a battery installed.

Attach the upper tube
Align the upper-tube notches with the blower outlet, then slide the tube on until it clicks into place.

Attach the lower tube
Align the lower tube with the upper tube, then slide the sections together until the connection clicks and locks.

Check both connections
Gently pull on each section to confirm it is secure before installing the battery.
Battery Charging

Remove the battery
Press the battery release and pull the battery out of the blower.

Connect the charger
Plug the charger into a suitable AC outlet, then connect the charger plug to the battery charge socket.

Check charging progress
The battery LEDs twinkle while charging. Charging is complete when all three indicator LEDs remain lit.

Disconnect in order
Unplug the charger from the outlet first, then disconnect it from the battery.
Starting, Speed Control & Stopping

Install one charged battery
Slide the battery into the compartment until it clicks. The 2AX2 model uses one battery at a time; keep the second battery as a charged spare.

Check the work area
Confirm both tube sections are secure and point the outlet away from people, pets, windows, vehicles, and loose objects.

Start at level 1
Press the start button. The blower begins at the lowest speed setting.

Select the airflow
Press the speed-level button to move through levels 1 to 6. After level 6, the next press returns to level 1. Press and hold the speed-level button for direct access to level 6.

Use a controlled sweep
Hold the blower firmly and sweep side to side, keeping the air inlet clear. Use only the airflow needed for the task and avoid extended operation at maximum speed.

Stop and wait
Press the start button to stop. Wait at least five seconds before restarting.
Safe Operating Practices
Wear protective equipment
Wear eye and hearing protection, sturdy footwear, long pants, and a long-sleeve shirt. Use a dust mask in dusty conditions.
Keep people and pets clear
Never direct the blower or loose debris toward anyone. Stop if another person enters the work area.
Keep the blower dry
Do not expose the blower, battery, or charger to rain or wet conditions.
Maintain control
Keep firm footing and balance. Do not operate from a ladder or unstable surface.
Keep the inlet clear
Tie back long hair, secure loose clothing, and keep hands and objects away from the air inlet and outlet.
Use at reasonable hours
Follow local noise rules and avoid operation when it may disturb others.
Cleaning, Maintenance & Storage
Clear the air inlet and vents
Use a soft brush or dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Never insert tools through the guards.
Clean the exterior
Wipe the housing and tubes with a soft cloth. Do not use solvents or allow water to enter the blower.
Inspect before storage
Check for loose, worn, or damaged parts. Do not use a damaged blower.
Store safely
Remove the battery and store the blower, battery, charger, and manual in a secure, dry, well-ventilated location away from children and corrosive materials.
Troubleshooting Guide
Turn off the blower and remove the battery before checking the tubes, air inlet, or exterior vents. Perform only the safe checks below.
Blower Will Not Start
Possible Causes
- Battery is not fully seated
- Battery is discharged
- Battery may be faulty
Solutions
- Remove and re-seat the battery until it clicks
- Fully charge the battery with the specified charger
- Try another known-good compatible X20 battery, if available
- Stop using the unit and arrange service if it still will not start
Blower Stops During Operation
Possible Causes
- Battery charge is low
- Overload or overheating protection activated
Solutions
- Remove and recharge the battery
- Turn off the blower, remove the battery, clear any external blockage, and let the unit cool for 10-15 minutes
- Use a lower speed for light work and avoid repeated rapid restarts
Airflow Is Weak
Possible Causes
- Battery charge is low
- Air inlet is blocked
Solutions
- Fully charge the battery
- Turn off the blower, remove the battery, and clear leaves or debris from the outside of the air inlet and vents
Excessive Vibration or Unusual Noise
Possible Causes
- A blower-tube connection is loose
- An internal part may be damaged
Solutions
- Stop immediately and remove the battery
- Check that the upper and lower tubes are securely locked
- Do not continue use if vibration or noise remains; arrange qualified service
Battery Will Not Charge
Possible Causes
- Battery is too hot or too cold
- Charger connections are loose
- The charger or battery may be faulty
Solutions
- Let the battery return toward room temperature
- Reconnect the charger to the outlet and battery charge socket
- Use only the specified compatible charger
- Arrange qualified service if the battery still will not charge
