What's in the Box
Connector supplied with each model:
- SJI-MFGA1: Single-hose outdoor faucet + garden hose tap connector.
- SJI-MFGA2: Dual-hose outdoor faucet + garden hose tap connector.
Assembly
SJI-MFGA1
- Attach the tap connector. Screw the tap connector onto the outdoor spigot and tighten until secure.
- Attach the garden hose. Screw the hose onto the pivoting connector and twist until tight.
SJI-MFGA2: For installation guidance specific to the dual-hose connector, contact Shop Joe Customer Care.
Getting Started + Operation
SJI-MFGA1
- Select the hose setting. Turn the dial until it clicks into place at the HOSE icon.
- Start the water. Turn on the outdoor spigot to use the connected hose.
Faucet Settings
- STREAM: On SJI-MFGA1, turn the dial until it clicks into place at the stream icon for a more concentrated flow.
- SHOWER: On SJI-MFGA1, turn the dial until it clicks into place at the shower icon.
SJI-MFGA2 also provides stream and shower faucet settings. Contact Customer Care for guidance on the controls for this model.

Water Leaks at the Faucet or Hose Connection
Possible Causes
Contact Customer Care to help identify the source of the leak.
Solutions
- Review the faucet connection. For SJI-MFGA1, check that the tap connector is attached securely to the outdoor spigot, as shown in the assembly instructions.
- Review the hose connection. For SJI-MFGA1, check that the garden hose is screwed tightly onto the pivoting connector.
- Get help if leaking continues. Contact Shop Joe Customer Care if the SJI-MFGA1 still leaks after the setup checks, or if your model is SJI-MFGA2.
Low Water Pressure or Weak Hose Flow
Possible Causes
Contact Customer Care to help determine why the water flow is weak.
Solutions
- Check the hose setting. For SJI-MFGA1, turn the dial until it clicks into place at the HOSE icon when using the connected garden hose.
- Check the water supply is on. Turn on the outdoor spigot, as directed in the SJI-MFGA1 operating instructions.
- Get help if flow remains weak. Contact Shop Joe Customer Care if the SJI-MFGA1 still has weak flow, or if your model is SJI-MFGA2.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between SJI-MFGA1 and SJI-MFGA2?
SJI-MFGA1 has one hose connection. SJI-MFGA2 has two hose connections for attaching two compatible hoses or watering accessories to one outdoor faucet.
Which garden hoses are compatible?
