Start Here: Before First Use
Battery Charging
-
Remove the battery
Press the push-lock buttons and pull the battery pack out of the snow shovel.
-
Check the power supply
Confirm the outlet voltage matches the charger rating before connecting the charger.
-
Connect the charger
Plug the charger into a suitable AC outlet, then connect the charger plug to the battery charge socket. The charger light is red while charging and green when complete.
-
Allow 6-7 hours
Charge each battery separately. Unplug the charger after charging is complete, and do not leave batteries on prolonged charge.
Assembly & Adjustment
-
Connect the upper and middle poles
Raise the handle section, align the groove at the connection point, insert the upper pole into the middle-pole connector, and tighten the knob clockwise.
-
Extend the telescoping pole
Turn the adjustment knob counterclockwise, extend the pole to the desired height, and tighten the knob clockwise.
-
Position the auxiliary handle
With the battery removed and the auger stopped, loosen the knob, remove the screws with the supplied screwdriver, set the handle within its 180-degree range, and tighten securely.
-
Set the discharge direction
With the battery removed, turn the directional control left or right. The adjustment range is 45 degrees.
Included Accessory Use
Screwdriver
Use it only for the auxiliary-handle mounting screws. Do not use it to open the motor, battery, or charger housing.
Snow shovel cover
Remove the battery, clean and dry the shovel, cover it completely, and store it indoors. Never cover a wet machine, and remove the cover before operation.
Ice scraper
Use it for loose snow, frost, and light ice on vehicle windows and other suitable smooth surfaces. Do not use excessive force or use it on delicate surfaces that may scratch.
Starting & Stopping
-
Insert one charged battery
Slide one battery into the compartment until it clicks. Keep the other two batteries outside the tool as charged spares.
-
Use the two-step start
Press and hold the safety-lock switch with your thumb, then squeeze the trigger switch.
-
Release the safety lock
After the motor starts, release the safety-lock switch while continuing to hold the trigger.
-
Stop the machine
Release the trigger and wait for the auger to stop completely before moving, adjusting, or inspecting the unit.
Snow-Clearing Tips
Use the right pace
Move forward at a comfortable rate that lets the auger clear the path completely. Slow down as snow depth increases.
Aim the discharge
Use the directional chute control to direct snow left or right, away from people, pets, windows, vehicles, and property.
Work with the wind
Throw snow downwind when possible and slightly overlap each pass.
Use steady footing
Wear winter footwear with good traction, keep a firm two-hand grip, walk rather than run, and use extra care on slopes and while backing up.
Clearing a Clogged Rotor
-
Shut off the motor
Release the trigger and remove the battery.
-
Wait 10 seconds
Allow the rotor blades to come to a complete stop.
-
Use a clean-out tool
Free the rotor with a suitable clean-out tool - never with your hands.
-
Inspect before restarting
Check the auger, housing, and guards for damage or trapped material before reinstalling the battery.
Maintenance & Storage
Prevent freeze-up
After clearing snow, run the machine for a few minutes to help prevent the rotor blades from freezing.
Clean and inspect
Remove snow and debris, check fasteners, and inspect for worn, loose, or damaged parts.
Do not lubricate
The snow shovel does not require lubrication; its bearings are factory-lubricated for the life of the product.
Store indoors
Remove the battery and store the shovel in a locked, dry location out of children's reach.
Protect all three batteries
Store batteries and charger at room temperature away from moisture. Recharge each battery every 6 months to about 50% capacity during off-season storage.
Troubleshooting
Release the trigger, remove the battery, and wait for all moving parts to stop before performing any check.

- Press down on the handle to maintain scraper contact
- Reduce forward speed
Rotor Housing Is Jammed
Stop
- Remove the battery and wait at least 10 seconds
