- Adjust the handle. Loosen the auxiliary handle knob, reposition the handle for comfortable operation, then tighten the knob securely.
- Aim the discharge. Stop the machine, remove the battery and wait for the auger to stop. Press down the chute direction control lever and turn it left or right. Adjustment is up to 25° either side of center.
- Clear snow. Push forward at a comfortable rate, slow enough to clear the path. Overlap passes slightly and direct discharge downwind when possible. For deeper drifts, use the sweeping motion described in the manual.
Clearing a Clogged Auger or Chute
- Release the trigger and remove the battery.
- Wait at least 10 seconds for all moving parts to stop.
- Use a clean-out tool, never your hands, to remove the obstruction.
Maintenance, Care & Storage
Check the shovel for loose, worn or damaged parts before storing. Remove the battery and keep the machine indoors in a dry, locked area away from children. Store the battery and charger at room temperature, protected from moisture. The manual recommends recharging the battery every six months to approximately 40%–60% during off-season storage.
