Assembly

Check the pre-mounted bar and chain
The chain saw head ships with the bar and chain pre-mounted. Before use, check that the chain is snug on the guide bar and can rotate by hand without binding.

Connect the chain saw head
Open the assembly lock on the telescoping pole and push the chain saw head into the opening at the end of the pole.

Lock the head in place
When the lock tabs snap in, close the assembly lock. Do not use the pole saw unless the chain saw head is fully locked.

Remove the head only when safe
Release the trigger, remove the battery, unlock the assembly lock, press the lock tabs on both sides, and pull the chain saw head out.
Battery Charging

Remove the battery
Press the push lock button and pull the battery pack out of the battery compartment.

Connect the charger
Confirm the charger voltage matches the outlet. Plug the charger adapter into an appropriate AC outlet, then connect the charger plug to the battery charge socket.

Monitor the LEDs
The battery indicator LEDs will twinkle and illuminate one by one during charging.

Unplug when complete
Charging takes about 1 hr 20 min. When all 3 LEDs are illuminated, unplug the charger from the outlet first, then disconnect it from the battery.
Getting Started

Inspect the work area
Keep bystanders and pets at least 50 ft away. Never use the pole saw within 50 ft of power lines.

Add bar and chain oil
Before starting, remove the oil tank cap and add bar and chain oil to the top of the oil level window. The saw uses approximately 0.15 fl oz / 4 ml of oil per minute.

Adjust the telescoping pole
Remove the battery, unclip the telescoping lock, extend the pole only as far as needed, then close the telescoping lock securely.

Adjust the cutting head angle
Remove the battery. Press both rotating buttons at the same time and set the head to 0°, 15°, or 30°. Release only when the head clicks securely into place.

Adjust the auxiliary handle
Set the auxiliary handle to -45°, 0°, or 45° as needed. Tighten the lock knob before operating.

Install the battery
Slide the battery into the battery compartment until it clicks and locks into position.

Start the pole saw
Push and hold the safety lock switch forward with your thumb, then squeeze the On/Off trigger switch. Once the tool is running, release the safety lock switch.

Stop the pole saw
Release the On/Off trigger switch. Wait for the chain to fully stop before moving, inspecting, or setting the tool down.
Cutting Tips
Use both hands
Keep one hand on the rear handle and the other on the pole or auxiliary handle. Maintain a firm grip with thumbs and fingers wrapped around the handles.
Keep the saw angle at 60° or less
The manual recommends positioning the pole chain saw shaft at an angle of 60° or less depending on the cutting situation.
Let the chain do the work
Let the chain reach full speed before entering the cut. Apply only light downward pressure and keep the saw running through the cut.
Remove long branches in stages
For pruning, remove long branches in several stages. Undercut the branch about one-third through, then overcut to drop the branch before making the final cut.
Avoid kickback
Do not let the guide bar tip touch any object. Cut one branch at a time and avoid boring or plunge cuts.
Maintenance & Care
Check chain tension before each use
A cold chain should have no slack on the underside of the guide bar, but it should still rotate by hand without binding.
Retension new chains frequently
A new chain stretches during early use. Check and retension as needed, especially during the first few work sessions.
Keep the chain lubricated
Use only bar and chain oil designed for chain saws. Failure to lubricate the chain can damage the bar and chain.
Clean the oil port and bar rails
Before each work session, inspect the oil port and guide bar rails and clean away debris.
Inspect hardware and locks
Periodically check that nuts and screws are tight. Confirm the telescoping lock and assembly lock are intact and working properly.
Watch for dull-chain symptoms
If sawdust looks like dust, cutting becomes difficult, the cut is not straight, or vibration increases, the chain may need sharpening or replacement.
Store safely
Remove the battery, clean the saw, install the bar sheath, and store indoors in a dry place out of children’s reach and away from corrosive agents.
Troubleshooting Guide
Remove the battery before inspecting, cleaning, adjusting, or performing maintenance. Only perform the checks below.
Possible Causes
- Battery is not inserted properly
- Battery is discharged
- Safety lock switch was not held forward before squeezing the trigger
- Chain may be too tight
Solutions
- Remove and reinsert the battery until it clicks
- Check battery charge level and recharge if needed
- Hold the safety lock switch forward first, then squeeze the trigger
- If the chain is too tight, loosen the tensioner slightly until the chain can rotate by hand without binding
Possible Causes
- Chain is overtightened
- Oil tank is empty
- Lubrication holes or oil port are blocked
Solutions
- Remove the battery
- Check and adjust chain tension
- Refill bar and chain oil to the top of the oil level window
- Clean the oil port and guide bar lubrication holes

Solutions
- Stop immediately and remove the battery
- Let the saw cool for at least 5 minutes
- Check and refill bar and chain oil

Possible Causes
- Guide bar tip contacted an object
- Chain was pinched along the top of the bar
- Chain is dull, loose, or improperly tensioned
Solutions
- Release the trigger immediately
- Do not restart until the cause is identified
- Never let the bar tip contact any object
- Cut only one branch at a time
- Keep the chain sharp and properly tensioned
Possible Causes
- Limb under tension closed on the chain
- Finishing cut was made too early
Solutions
- Release the trigger and wait for the chain to stop
- Wait 5 minutes for the saw to cool
- Remove the battery and wear gloves
- If reachable from the ground, lift the limb to release the pinch
- If the saw remains trapped, do not force it; call a professional for assistance
Possible Signs
- Saw vibrates abnormally
- Saw will not cut correctly
Solutions
- Remove the battery
- Remove the end cover and chain
- Flip the chain so the sharp side of the teeth faces away from you in the chain rotation direction marked on the guide bar
- Reinstall and tension properly

- Battery charge is low
- Chain is too tight
- Chain is dull
- Bar or chain is damaged
Solutions
- Recharge the battery if 2 or fewer LEDs are lit
- Check chain tension and loosen slightly if it cannot rotate by hand
- Replace a dull chain if cutting becomes difficult
- Inspect the guide bar for wear, bending, cracks, or broken rails
Possible Causes
- Battery was deeply discharged
- Battery was stored incorrectly
- Battery is nearing end of service life
Solutions
- Recharge immediately and do not fully discharge the battery
- Store the battery at about 77°F / 25°C and at least 40% charged
- Replace the battery if capacity has noticeably declined
Possible Causes
- Battery is too hot after use
- Charging temperature is outside 41°F–105°F
- Charger cord or outlet connection issue
Solutions
- Let the battery cool to room temperature before charging
- Charge only between 41°F and 105°F / 5°C–40.5°C
- Check that the charger is plugged into a working 100–240V AC outlet
- Unplug when all 3 LEDs are illuminated

- Telescoping lock is not fully closed
- Pole is not set firmly at the desired length

- Remove the battery
- Collapse the pole slightly and re-extend to the desired length
