Assembly
Before setup: Remove the battery and wear protective gloves whenever you handle the bar or chain. Never install the battery while making adjustments.
- Inspect the chain saw. Confirm that the bar, chain, hand brake, handles, guards, fasteners, switches, and ventilation openings are clean, secure, and undamaged.
- Check the chain tension. Disengage the front hand brake, slightly loosen the two end-cover nuts with the included tool, lift the bar tip, and turn the chain-adjusting screw until a cold chain is snug against the underside of the bar but still moves freely by hand.
- Secure the bar assembly. Retighten both end-cover nuts, then use the screwdriver end of the included tool to move the chain along the guide and confirm smooth travel.
- Fill the oil tank. Remove the oil cap and add fresh, good-quality bar and chain oil to approximately 1 cm below the filler rim. Reinstall the cap and wipe away spilled oil.
- Charge the battery. Remove the battery from the tool, connect the compatible charger to a suitable outlet, attach the charger plug to the battery charge socket, and disconnect it once all three battery indicators are illuminated.
Getting Started
- Prepare the work area. Keep the area clean and well lit, clear away hazards, inspect the wood for nails or wire, and keep children and bystanders away.
- Put on protective equipment. Wear eye and hearing protection, protective gloves, non-slip footwear, and appropriate head and leg protection.
- Complete the pre-use checks. Confirm proper chain tension and sharpness, sufficient bar and chain oil, a working hand brake, clear vents, dry handles, and freely moving switches.
- Install the charged battery. Slide the battery securely into the compartment only after all checks and adjustments are complete.
- Release the chain brake. Return the front hand brake to the OFF position and verify that the chain is clear of every object.
- Start with two hands. Hold the rear handle with your right hand and the front handle with your left, press the safety lock switch, and squeeze the trigger switch.
- Make the cut safely. Stand on a fixed, level surface, keep the saw below shoulder height, maintain firm two-handed control, and use only light pressure while the chain reaches full speed.
- Stop and secure the saw. Release the trigger, wait for the chain to stop, remove the battery, allow the saw to cool, and install the bar sheath before transport or storage.
Restart protection: Wait at least five seconds after stopping before restarting the saw to help protect the motor from excess heat.
Maintenance, Care & Storage
- Remove the battery and wait at least five minutes for the saw to cool before cleaning, adjusting, servicing, or storing it.
- Before each work session, inspect the chain, guide bar, housing, oil port, bar rails, chain tension, chain sharpness, and oil level.
- Clean the housing with mild soap and a damp cloth. Never immerse the saw or allow liquid inside the motor housing.
- Remove sawdust and debris from the bar groove, oil port, lubrication holes, sprocket area, and ventilation slots.
- Use only fresh, good-quality bar and chain oil. Do not use used, poor-quality, mineral, or engine oil.
- Empty the oil tank after each use to reduce seepage. For storage of three months or longer, leave the chain lightly lubricated to help prevent rust.
- Keep the chain properly tensioned and sharp. Use only the replacement bar and chain specified by the manufacturer.
- Store the saw indoors in a dry, high or locked location away from children, with the battery removed and the bar sheath installed.
- Store the battery and charger in a dry place away from heat, moisture, fire, and metal objects that could contact the terminals.
Troubleshooting
The motor does not start
Possible Causes
- The battery is not inserted correctly.
- The battery does not have enough charge.
- The front hand brake is engaged.
- The unit was not started using the correct startup sequence.
Solutions
- Remove and reinstall the battery securely.
- Check the charge indicators and recharge the battery with the compatible charger.
- Check that the front hand brake is in the OFF position.
- If the brake is engaged, the unit will not start.
- Move the front hand brake to the OFF position to reset it.
- To start the unit, press and hold the safety lock button, then squeeze the trigger switch while continuing to hold the safety lock button.
The saw stops during operation

Solutions
- Confirm the battery is installed correctly and recharge it if needed.
- Release the trigger, remove the saw from the cut, and reduce the load. Do not force the tool.

The motor runs, but the chain does not turn

- The guide bar or chain is damaged.
- The chain brake is engaged.
- The chain brake has not been fully disengaged.
Solutions
- Remove the battery and correct the chain tension.
- Before inspecting the chainsaw, turn the unit off, remove the batteries, and allow it to cool completely.
- Check if the chain brake is engaged.
- When the chain brake is activated, the motor may run, but the chain will not rotate.
- Pull the chain brake handle back toward the rear handle until you hear or feel it click into place.
- Make sure the chain brake is fully disengaged before operating the chainsaw.
Stop using the saw immediately if you notice unusual vibration or sound, smoke, a cracked housing, a bent bar, a broken handle, battery damage, or any condition that may affect safe operation. Remove the battery and have the unit inspected before using it again.
